Happy Boxing Day :)
Hope the holidays have been good for everyone :) I spent my day with my family as we went to Vivo City for shopping where we were hoping there would be good sales but i just bought a dress from F21. Vivo was so damn crowded, like a damn nightmare. Then we steamboat for dinner which is one of my favourites :)

It's funny how i celebrate Christmas like on Christmas Eve, does that make sense? The whole family gathers the night before, have dinner and open presents before midnight. I go for christmas mass on Christmas, that's pretty much it? Oh but this year was still good, i went to meet Andree, Carisser, Michelle, Abigail and Inessa at Raffles City since Andree is leaving Monday. I love taking polaroids, i need to bring my camera out more often so i can take photos and also finish up the heart collage on my wall. Scanned these in a few minutes ago, i tried to upload these on facebook but it's being a pain in the butt.





Been listening to The Princess & the Frog soundtrack along with the Christmas music (i am one of those who loves christmas songs and i love it when the malls play christmas music.) I loved the movie, proves that Disney still has it!

Merry Christmas

Spent my morning at Great World City watching Alvin and the Chipmunks. And my Dad went to Singtel to go and change my phone although i told him i didn't need a new one but he insisted i get the new one. I think it's so he can play around with it because i see no need to get the new phone. When we came home, he pretty much had my phone for like 2 hours just playing around with it.

Every Christmas Eve, everyoone on my Mum's side will gather at my Granny's place and have dinner together then start gathering out christmas loot around 10-ish.

However, this year was a different story as my little cousins at my Granny's place all got sick, i think one of them has H1N1, so we changed the venue to Aunty Pam's place and had our dinner there instead. I love Christmas food and somehow everything felt cozier this year. The only kid there was Ethan so he was getting all the attention, he only came in handy when i asked him to help us take photos. It's great to spend Christmas with the whole family, i love it

Still sorta sick but much better than yesterday. I pretty much did nothing yesterday other than sleep, eat, go to the loo and watch alot of shows on my computer. But wohoo the meds somewhat worked and i'm feeling much better though my voice tells another story. I had to cancel on my prawning date with HaNick today (sry!) but i'm dragging my ass to the council christmas party later. It's good that it's so damn near my place so i can just walk there later.

Can't believe the year is about to end and tomorrow will be Christmas Eve. I think i'll be bringing Ethan to watch Alvin and the Chipmunks 2 as he's been waiting for it to come out. I find the chipmunks really cute although i know a lot of people find them annoying. But if we watch the movie, i'll only go if it's like a 10 or 11am movie. I'm pretty sure the malls will be crowded in the afternoon for those doing last minute shopping tsk tsk.

I'm happy to be done with Christmas shopping (other than my secret santa gift. boo!), although the present i bought for my Mum hasn't arrived in the mail yet. So.. maybe i'll keep that for her birthday gift and give her something else. My Dad already opened the gift i gave to him, the new John Mayer album :) Because giving him the Norah Jones album is 'too gay' according to Michelle.

sick with a flu, life sucks?

As the title already states, i'm sick with the flu. It started last night and i hardly got any sleep because i was up all night sniffling away and blowing my nose. When i woke up, my floor was flooded with dirty scrunched up tissues. I won't go into detail and describe my mucus or whatever but my voice is so nasley and nasty right now. Despite this, i managed to drag myself out of bed to meet Michelle cause we made plans to watch Avatar. If you haven't seen it yet, go watch it. We were 30 minutes late for the movie and according to my Dad we missed the backstory of Jake but still really enjoyed the film. I was looking out for Dev Patel because dumb me thought he was in this movie but no, he's in the Avatar: The Last Airbender movie. Can't believe i got that mixed up...

Walked around town after the movie, even stopped by 313. I quite like that mall, my only problem is how some stores like Zara and Forever21 have bad ventilation. I understand F21 is really crowded but so hot till your customers feel uncomfortable and sweat a lil? That ain't cute. Met up with Michelle's friend Grace for a bit before my Dad came to pick me up and we went to have dinner together and watch Sherlock Holmes. Yes, 2 long movies in one day. I wanted to fall asleep during Sherlock Holmes because i was so sleepy but i couldn't because i love Robert Downey Jr. Another really good movie with a great cast.

Christmas in 4 days, hohohoho. I'm off to go rest in bed and pray i feel better soon.
